Review of the Book “How to Write a Scientific Paper” by Jari Saramaki

This book can be life-changing for both Ph.D. students as well as researchers, scientists, or professors well into their careers. I used to view writing papers as something that we, as Ph.D. students, have to do and doesn’t really have much to do with the actual science. And boy, could I have been more wrong?! This book not only helped me to write papers more efficiently but also destroyed my preconceived notions about writing. I now fully believe that writing is one of the most critical parts of research and the scientific discovery process. And it might as well be the most important one.
